Shane Turner is an NYC-based musician working in the world of Broadway and cabaret. Primarily, he’s a pianist and music director, but he’s also a composer (both for theatre and concert), arranger, orchestrator, copyist, singer, and amateur accordionist. He’s a sub keyboardist on Broadway at “MJ the Musical”, and he’s played at 54 Below, Green Room 42, the Triad, and the Laurie Beechman, amongst others. In August 2025, he was the Music Assistant for the Minneapolis world premiere of “Purple Rain.” He’s currently the main Music Director for Jersey-based NiCori Studios, led by Corinna Sowers-Adler. Shane has a Bachelor’s in Music Theory and Composition from NYU Steinhardt (grad. 2022), and has music directed a number of shows at New Studio on Broadway in Tisch School of the Arts.
